Program Description: To conserve and enhance Georgia's agricultural soil and water resources on private lands through the use of best management practices (BMP's) funded yearly by the Federal Farm Bill and delivered through soil and water conservation districts.
Program Purpose: To conserve GA's rich natural resources through voluntary implementation of conservation BMP's on agricultural lands.
Program Goals: To reduce the presence of soil erosion and other non-point source pollutants from agricultural lands managed by the state's 40,000 agricultural producers.
