Water Resources and Land Use Planning

Program Description/Purpose: To conduct research activities and analyses in an effort to further the understanding of water use and to develop basin plans that improve its management and efficiency.

Program Purpose: To improve the understanding of water use and to develop plans that improve water management and efficiency.

Program Goals: Water policy issues will be identified to assist river basin stakeholders in the water planning process and water policy research and analyses will be used by policymakers to improve the effectiveness of water and land conservation and management.
