Required/Preferred Qualifications (Educational, Professional, other skills, etc.): Preferred experience in erosion and sediment control, environmental science, engineering, surveying, and/or GIS. GSWCC Level 1A Certification preferred but not required.
If position is open to students currently pursuing their degree, diploma, or certificate, what level of flexibility is provided to allow students to work while still completing their program? (ex. part-time schedule, changing schedule, second shift hours, etc.): A flexible part-time schedule
Pay Information: $12/hour starting and $15/hour when GSWCC Level II Plan review certification is achieved.
Work Schedule: Up to 24 hours/week
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Logging in and reviewing erosion and sediment control plans. Answering technical questions from the public and design professionals regarding erosion control plans and state requirements.
Other Miscellaneous Information: Certification in Level 1A, Level 1B, and Level II Plan Reviewer will be provided through the GSWCC as part of the internship.
