Georgia Envirothon to hold  Waste to Resources Workshop
Georgia Envirothon will hold a workshop covering the 2022 current topic - Waste to Resources.  The workshop will be held on March 7, 2022 at Athens-Clarke County Waste Management Facility.  The workshop will be free of charge for all teams planning to compete in the 2022 Georgia Envirothon Competition.  Registration information and more details will be posted on the GA Envirothon website (gaenvirothon.com) in January 2022.

Upper Chattahoochee Soil & Water Conservation District to sponsor White County Envirothon team.

The Upper Chattahoochee County Soil & Water Conservation District will sponsor a team from White County High School to attend the 2021-22 Georgia Envirothon Competition. The competition will take place on April 21, 2022 at Tugaloo State Park. The Georgia Envirothon is a natural resource education program designed to challenge students in an interactive, outdoor competition where high school teams  are tested in areas of Wildlife, Forestry, Aquatic Ecology, Soils and Land Use, and a Current Issue. Teams take written and hands-on tests outside and give presentations based on the chosen Current Issue. Columbia County Soil & Water Conservation District to sponsor Lakeside High School team Envirothon team.

The Columbia County Soil & Water Conservation District will sponsor a team from Lakeside High to attend the 2021-22 Georgia Envirothon Competition.
